A rainbow walk

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be inside a rainbow?

An Icelandic artist Olafur Eliaso, a true master has created a rooftop installation, “your rainbow panorama” positioned atop AROS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, a 10 story art museum located in Aarhus, Denmark.

If rainbows were giant circular window that you could walk around in, this is exactly what it would look like. The walkway yields a spectacular 360 degree view of the city. It’s a 150 meter long and 3 meters wide corridor, and in all the colors of the rainbow, the view of the city is beautiful and the colors add to that in a very special way.
Taking a stroll here was a unique sensory experience. Part of what makes this such an interesting work of art is that your experience of it can change depending on the time of the day, the weather or even how fast you walk through it.

It’s breathtakingly beautiful to watch the city through the colorful glass. The city looks even more beautiful through the rainbow panorama.

Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark. The AROS museum is the cultural hub of the city. AROS itself holds many interesting and spectacular piece of art. With several floors full of contemporary art, visual and audio, and of course the rainbow panorama.
It’s definitely easy to tell why Danes love Aarhus , it’s cultured, it’s cool, it’s arty, it’s a modern city and yet it retains very flavor of traditional Danish city. When you visit Denmark, AROS museum in Aarhus should definitely be on your bucket list.

It’s everyone’s rainbow and a rainbow which is always in the sky.
